Flowers


I dance around you like a butterfly in a summer breeze
Catching your attention with a simple smile
You follow me instinctively, like a swarm of bees
If you land on me, I’ll be your lily of the nile

I wrap myself around you like a summer rain shower
With myriads of drops dripping down your nose
But you need to remember that I will always be your sunflower
That represents how much our love for each other grows

A single red rose could not separate us
even when the winds try to tear us apart
Not even her thorns could hurt us
When we stay together, heart to heart

I long to be your orchid, 
clinging on to you, rain or shine
If you could be my tree and you don't forfeit

You’ll always be mine.

  Savner dig for evigt Jeg kører hjem i min bil, men er det egentlig ”hjem”? For det føltes som ”hjem”, da jeg lå i dine arme Nu kører jeg bare forgæves efter et sted, der føles lige sådan, Endløse kilometer uden dig, farer rundt som en rastløs fugl, med tårer i mine øjne, når der spiller en sang, der minder mig om dig.
